Where do i connect my exterior light for my car dash?

i have an exterior dash light and i need to find a positive and negative so it will power on when the car does…what can i use

There is a 12v Accy connected to the iginition which you can use as the state on a relay, then just run a 12v positive and ground from the fuse box (making sure to properly fuse it), and if you wire it up correctly, the lights should turn on along with all the other accys in your car.
